2024 Season Opening

Operation Toy Train, the Dining Car Society, and the Tri-States Railway Preservation Society will have their railroad equipment open to the public for the opening of the 2024 season from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM. The theater/gift shop boxcar, museum boxcar, and caboose will be open.

This will be the public’s first opportunity to check out the all-new special exhibit in the theater boxcar, entitled “History of Port Jervis Railroading.” This exhibit explores the development of the City of Port Jervis and its link to the railroads that served it.

Additionally, author Rudy Garbely will be on hand to give tours of the site and railroad equipment and autograph copies of his new book, The Railroads of Port Jervis, Volume 3: The Conrail Era, 1976-1999, which is being released on this date!

Admission is free, but donations to support the Erie Turntable’s ongoing preservation efforts are highly encouraged.
